The energy sector is going through a major transformation: new models such as Renewable Energy Communities allow citizens, businesses, and local authorities to become active participants in the energy system.

However, designing digital tools for this sector means dealing with a unique level of complexity. Every user has different needs: an administrator needs to manage members and documentation, a professional needs to manage clients and applications, while citizens need to understand a highly technical and regulated world.

On top of this complexity come regulatory constraints, bureaucratic processes, and requirements set by Italian energy authorities such as GSE and ARERA.

The challenge was not simply digitizing existing processes, but creating an experience that makes a complex system easier to understand and manage without losing accuracy.
